Earthquake recorded in Hodeidah governorate

On Monday, December 1, 2025, stations of the Yemeni Center for Monitoring and Study of Earthquakes and Volcanoes recorded an earthquake in Hodeidah governorate, western Yemen.
The tremor reached a magnitude of 3.1 and was recorded at 1:07 p.m., 6 km southeast of Al-Jarrahi district, south of Hodeidah governorate.

Al-Jarrahi district was exposed during the night of Tuesday and at dawn of Wednesday September 23-24, 2025 to five earthquakes, the magnitude of which varied between 1.8 and 3.0 on the Richter scale, and were recorded from the southwest and northeast of the district.
